What I store

When you bid, I store your brand name, destination link, uploaded logo, email address, bid and deposit amounts, bid status, timestamps, and the payment or refund references needed to run the auction.

When someone clicks a sponsor link, I store the time, sponsor, a one-way pseudonymous deduplication key, and the referring site's origin. Raw IP addresses and full referring URLs are not stored, and raw click events expire after 90 days.

I never see or store your card details. Dodo Payments handles them and sends back payment and refund references.

What I do with it

Your brand name, link, and logo go on this page publicly, because that is the product. Your email address does not.

I contact you about your own bid and, if you win, send the remaining-balance link manually. There is no mailing list.

Analytics

Site traffic is measured with DataFast. DataFast may set a visitor identifier; when you begin checkout, that identifier is forwarded to Dodo Payments as metadata so revenue can be attributed to the marketing source. Aggregate visitor numbers are shown on this site.

Who else sees it

Dodo Payments processes payments and refunds. Vercel hosts the site, MongoDB Atlas hosts the production database, and DataFast provides analytics and revenue attribution. Sponsor logos are served from this site's own data rather than loaded from a sponsor-controlled server. I do not sell personal data.

Your say

Email hey@brandmybike.lol and I will send you a copy of everything I hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Bid records tied to a completed payment stay for as long as tax rules require.

Unpaid checkout attempts are retained long enough to reconcile a late payment notification safely, then removed during periodic cleanup. Paid and refunded bid records are retained only as long as needed for payment disputes, accounting, fraud prevention, and legal obligations.
